Yep did it with a tank warrior and a monk/ranger. both level 8... but or /deaths were 120 before we were done with that area... lol and the searing still happened. lol
U dont get anything special for dooing it. there are a few chest beyond them up the path to teh north. but nothing GOOD is in it. Boy there should be though. lol
Best stratagy is get them into smaller groups... draw them out... Use pets if you have too in order to get them to move away from the main group. then attack them... Anything less then level 8 or 9 I doubt will be able to do it any better... But if that auto resuect didnt happen there whould be NO WAY to finish that level. nor do I think they want you to be able too. lol
The red and blue Boss Char are the hardest to kill... dont try to attack them together. get them apart... or they heal each other...

I can do this area solo now. Level 9 Ranger/Necro. I'd wager 2 hours.
It's all a matter of learning the patterns and thinking tactically.
I've gotten a few good drops, but nothing earth shattering.
.
There's three methods of winning solo...
1) Pull to the monk.
2) Pull to the spawn point and whittle down your targets while dying and respawning with full health/energy.
3) Get the roving parties into a bugged state and they won't attack you as you attack them

Well, I'm just about there I think. Not sure.
My method of gameplay is very patient, but been rushing a bit to catch up to a friend so we can do missions together.
I'm finding a HUGE difference between pre-searing creatures and post-searing creatures. The charr don't seem all that bad actually, I can hold my own against them. It's the other swarming creatures that like to annoy me

Yeah, the Northlands gets you pretty used to the Charr, and until the Fire Temple, me and my friend didn't find a group of them we couldn't take out on the first try. Groups of 7 level 8+ charr get a little mean, and they definitely aren't worth the exp considering the amount of time and trouble it takes to clear them out.
Those dang devourers are the worst though. You walk into a nest of 10 of them and get no warning whatsoever.
